The United States is deeply saddened by the news of the casualties from the Tennessee High School Mass Shooting, our thoughts go out to the families of the victims and the community at large. The United States thus expresses the need for Congress to provide adequate gun control mechanisms to limit the possibility of such horrendous occurrences being repeated. These include for example requiring the existing law for licensed gun sellers to monitor and have background checks of any potential buyers.
