Turkish Government Response - Kurds need to unite to be a respected part of Turkey

In an attempt by the Turkish government to urge stability in the east regions of the country, a statement has been issued to keep the Kurds happy after the losses suffered. Included in the gestures offered, a 3 day period of mourning has been given an "all clear" by the government to respect those who lost their lives in Sirnak and Mardin, with an official ceremony being attended by the President who has been increasingly guarded over the course of the weeks. Additionally, Kurdish TV channels will be broadcast and recognised and a stressing that civil liberties will not be infringed during these difficult times.
