NATO votes in favour of Communiqué to invade Greece

NATO Communiqué Noting with deep concern the recent developments in the Hellenic Republic, Emphasizing NATO’s role in safeguarding peace and security in the Euro- Atlantic Area, Reaffirming the principles enshrined in the Washington Treaty of 1949, The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation,

1. Denounces the coup d’état by the political party Golden Dawn in Greece;

2. Condemns the recent annexation by Greece of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus;

3. Urges Greece’s withdrawal of the territory of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

4. Establishes Operation ‘Sunset’, a military intervention against the illegitimate government of Nikolaos Michaloliakos, with the mission of holding fair and democratic elections within the Hellenic Republic and securing peace and security in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

NATO have yet to assemble their respective Defence Ministers and Chiefs of Staff to discuss strategic objectives.
