Double Referendum

The UK has called a date for the referendum on its continued membership of the European Union. Due to co-ordinated action by Conservative Party backbenchers and the Labour Party, a second referendum, on the UK's continued membership of NATO. The referendum is scheduled to take place in just under three weeks time. (For conference purposes this counts as 1700).
