USA TENNESSEE UPDATE

The emerging situation of the Siege of Rutledge is indicative of the need for strong gun control measures to ensure that those with dangerous non peaceful motives are unable to gain access to high grade weapons. The Department for Homeland security is in the process of deploying National Guard and SWAT teams within the region to address the current situation and to ensure stability in its immediate aftermath. Furthermore, The Attorney General of the United States is highly critical of the actions of the local Sheriff in joining the 2nd Tennessee Militia Battalion in breach of his obligation to protect and serve the public, and accordingly the local Sheriff has been dishonourably relieved of his duty as a law enforcement officer.
