Ukraine application for NATO membership to be reviewed
As part of its 'open-door policy' Ukraine has now formally been accepted into consideration for the North Atlantic Council facilitated by the Office of the Secretary-General. The Euromaidan revolution has reinvigorated Ukrainian pride and culture in the face of Russian aggression in Eastern Europe. As the voting procedure will take place very soon, leading political figures from surrounding Eastern European countries such as Poland and Romania urge for the stipulations to be debated, reviewed and voted upon as well as finalize the action plan that will fully incorporate Ukraine into the North Atlantic Council and the wider areas of the institution.
