STATE OF EMERGENCY AND CLOSING THE BORDER. After the recent attacks by ISIS in the city of Siirt, the Government of Turkey decided to close the border and install a curfew. Any possible threat would be destroyed and we would insure that our population would be safe. We are calling upon European countries for cooperation to help us contain the threat outside our borders and far from European countries.
