The United States is thoroughly pleased by some of the great developments that have been achieved during the course of negotiations and hopes that cooperative action will prevail in response to any further major issues. It is the position of the United States that meaningful multilateral long term strategy must be reached in order to combat the common threat of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and similar Islamic extremist organisations both domestically and abroad. These radical bodies have as their primary aims the destruction of fundamental freedoms and human rights as well as the incitement of fear, and thus these bodies cannot be tolerated. Moreover, continued efforts must be made to address the Syrian refugee situation, to allow their and tackle discriminatory behaviour to these vulnerable people within our own borders. Consequently, the United States calls upon the Heads of States of the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, Germany, Turkey and France to resume the fruitful discussions that recently took place.
