Press Statement from the SG of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg

The NATO organisation is seriously insulted by the statement of Russia. We see Russia's opposition as a way of aligning themselves with an extremist neo-Nazi group. The only thing destabilizing the Eurozone is opposition to NATO expansion, the statement made by Russia contradicts their 2008 action of war in Georgia and statements made by Russia in 2011 in which they said they purposely used this war to prevent NATO expansion. This issue with Greece is a NATO problem and will be solved by us. Due to Washington Treaty stating that an attack on one member of NATO is an attack on all members of NATO this will be dealt with by the members. Russia's assumption of destabilization can be corrected as NATO can allow a Russian official to investigate and be present while the elections and events unfold. We do thank Russia for their concern. We assure Russia we do have Greece best interest at heart and all actions will be dealt with democratically
