Operation Sunset

NATO has commenced combat operations of size and complexity unseen since the Gulf War. US Forces have conducted amphibious operations to land over 50,000 Troops and 600 Armoured Vehicles. Simultaneous operations have seen UK forces begin their assault on the island of Cyprus, with French, Turkish and German forces also conducting air strikes and ground operations. Initial casualties have been extremely light, although the Hellenic army has yet to mobilise its entire strength to counter the attacks.
