German state of emergency extended for further 3 months

The German cabinet has voted to extend the state of emergency by 3 months, first instigated by the Munich attacks not long ago.  However, spiralling costs of this programme are causing disagreements amongst the general public of how the vast number of police and soldiers will be paid.
